i don’t have a 5 year plan. i usually don’t even know what i’m doing next. but, i am secure in knowing that the One who created this world & ordains its every motion, created & shaped my life & holds it in His hands. He knows my plan, & it is far bigger & better than any one i could ever come up with. He doesn’t need me, but it continues to amaze me that He would entrust me with so much & use me in such a way. i am so thankful for His grace & that He might find beauty in a sinner like me.
i am serving in kenya for four months. right now i am at bethesda children’s home in kerugoya. i love these little girls with all my heart. the conditions aren’t always easy & i miss my family & friends more than i can say, but i know there is a purpose. if just one life is changed, then it’s all worth it. it’s all about doing ‘small things with great love.’
pray for open hearts & growth. please pray that God be glorified through it all, and that i can show them a love that illuminates the one true love of the Father.
